Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and WebBuddy LLC ("we", "us"), the company that makes Osbert. By using Osbert you accept them. Please read them with the Privacy Policy.

Who can use Osbert

You must be 18 or older. Your account is for you alone: keep your devices and the email you sign in with safe, and tell us at hey@webbuddy.agency if you think someone else has got in.

Osbert is an AI assistant

Osbert is an AI, not a person, and he can be wrong. What he says isn't medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Check anything important before you rely on it. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services; Osbert will point you to help, but he is not a crisis service.

You approve what Osbert does

Osbert only sends emails, buys things, adds calendar events or takes other actions in the world after you approve the exact action on a card. You are responsible for what you approve, so read the card first.

Early access

Osbert is new, and these are its early days, including test versions through Apple's TestFlight. Features may change, pause or stop while we learn what works. We'll tell you in the app about anything important.

Price and your monthly allowance

Osbert is free to use for now. Each month includes an allowance of AI use and voice minutes. When most of it is used, Osbert tells you; when all of it is used, Osbert stops taking on new requests until the next month. Reminders and actions you already approved still happen, and crisis support always works. If we ever introduce paid plans, we'll tell you first, and nothing will be charged unless you choose a plan.

Fair use

Other services

When you connect Google or your email provider, or Osbert buys from a shop for you, their own terms also apply to what happens there. We aren't responsible for those services.

Your content

What you write and the files you share stay yours. You let us store and process them only to run Osbert for you, as the Privacy Policy describes. You can export or delete them at any time in Settings → Your data.

Your feedback

If you send us ideas, ratings or problem reports, we may use them to improve Osbert without owing you anything for them. Conversations you choose to share are handled as the Privacy Policy describes: their details are made up before anyone reads them.

Osbert belongs to us

The Osbert app, its software, the Osbert name and character, and their design belong to WebBuddy LLC. We give you a personal licence to use Osbert under these terms. It can't be transferred, and it ends if your account ends.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes.

Ending

You can delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why where we can. If we ever stop running Osbert, we'll tell you in advance so you can export your data.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Osbert is provided "as is", without promises beyond those in these terms. WebBuddy LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for actions you approved. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of 100 US dollars or what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law of where you live, or liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Wyoming, USA. If you live somewhere whose law gives you the right to bring a claim there, you keep that right.

Changes

We may update these terms as Osbert grows. The date at the top changes, and we'll tell you in the app before an important change takes effect. If you keep using Osbert after that, the new terms apply.
